ASSIST and Web for Faculty
Welcome to UTPA’s online student and faculty services (ASSIST and Web for Faculty). With the new student information Banner system fully functional, it is time to retire the self service system that maintained student records for the University for over 15 years. Effective April 3rd the old student information system (VAX) will no longer be available through ASSIST.
Information for the VAX system (Summer 2008 and earlier) continued to be available in self service during the transition to the Banner student information system; however now that Banner is in its 2nd semester of operation, the data in the VAX system is no longer current. Please select the appropriate option below.

- Assist Late Registration Fee charged $40.
May 22, 2009
- Last day to drop or withdraw for Miniterm 2009. After this date student remains enrolled and receives a letter grade for the Miniterm.
May 25, 2009
- Memorial Holiday. No classes for Miniterm.
May 27, 2009
- Last class day for Miniterm.
May 29, 2009
- Miniterm Final Exam.
June 8, 2009
- First day of classes for Summer I and 10 week session.
- Assist Late Registration Fee charged $90
June 9, 2009
- Last day to late register or add Summer I and 10 week session courses.
- Assist Late Registration Fee charged $90
June 11, 2009
- Last day to receive 100% refund for Summer I and 10 week "dropped" classes. Student must remain enrolled in one course to receive 100% refund from dropped course(s).
